2nd Wed Lecture: Microbes by Marco-The Soil Food Web & Indigenous Microbes

January 13, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Register

Garden and farm work never stops! In the colder seasons, we see above ground activity diminish but the soil beneath our feet is still very alive with microbial activity. Healthy soil is the foundation of nutrient rich, bountiful food production and healthy food systems. Winter is the perfect time to research and prepare for the following growing season.

Join Marco Thomas in a discussion on the soil food web, indigenous microorganisms, making low cost inputs, composting methods and more.

Marco Thomas is an urban farmer, based in Virginia, dedicated to natural farming practices, growing soil inputs and sharing his knowledge with communities . Marco teaches it’s possible to build healthy soil and feed families with ultra low cost inputs.
