2nd Wednesday Lecture: Nutrition and Herbal Interventions for Stress and Anxiety

December 14, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Nutrition and Herbal Interventions for Stress and Anxiety

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, winter is a time for rest and revitalization, a hibernation of such. Unfortunately for many of us, winter months tend to be our least restful with holiday celebrations, travel, and final exams looming. This lack of rest our bodies are craving can lead to excess stress, anxiety and adrenal fatigue. Fortunately, what we eat can help support our adrenal organs and help us better cope with stress and anxiety. Join us to learn the nutritional and botanical interventions for managing stress and anxiety!

About the Presenter: Ingrid is deeply passionate about food and nutrition. Her approach to nutrition is one that is rooted in holistic philosophy, focusing on a whole foods diet rich in nutrient-dense foods that heals both the mind and body.

Ingrid is a licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, as well as a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Ingrid received her Masters of Science degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University in Seattle, a leader in natural health and alternative medicine.
