NOITP: Big Table Dinner
September 10, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Join us for an evening of food and conversation to celebrate the amazing urban agriculture that is happening all over Chicago. The Big Table Dinner is farm-to-table style dinner that features local restaurants and food growers. The dinner is hosted by the Green City Market Junior Board in partnership with Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks and designed to bring together farmers, producers, chefs, agricultural activists, community leaders, local business owners, food lovers, neighbors, and more to share a free meal in the park.
What’s on the menu?
Enjoy a thoughtfully-prepared meal while participating in conversations facilitated by local agriculture and culinary leaders. The menu will feature a rainbow of fresh, seasonal produce from local farmers and community gardens. The dishes for the Big Table Dinner are being generously cooked by local chefs. Check back soon for a list of participating chefs for the night.
