Black Plant-It: The Cultivation Exhibit

The Garfield Park Conservatory is partnering with Art West to host the 2025 Black Plant It activation called The Cultivation, an exhibition exploring the intricate connections between the Black human experience and the natural world. We are representing artwork that reflects themes of growth, resilience, and spiritual freedom, observing nature as an inspiration for storytelling and self-expression.
This exhibition is generally on view in the Community Room after 1pm on weekdays and between 10am-3pm on the weekends.
