DIY Windowsill Herb Garden Class

Kick off your spring with an indoor sustainable gardening project that will add to your interior decor and up your kitchen game!  Join Emilia Arellano, GPCA Greenhouse Coordinator, for a DIY class where you will assemble self-watering planters made from pre-cut, upcycled wine bottles that should fit nicely on a windowsill and fill them with easy care herbs.  You will also learn how to keep your herbs healthy and get tips on how to amend a standard potting mix to increase its moisture holding capacity. Each participant will make three planters to take home, using moisture-tolerant herbs such as basil, parsley and mint.

Cancellation Policy: If you find this class date no longer works for you, we will gladly refund your money if it is more than two weeks prior to the class date. If it is within two weeks, we can either move your registration to a different class date or you can use the money as a credit towards another class offering before the end of our fiscal year (June 30).
