*Horticulture Hall will be closed to the public on Wednesday, October 16th & Thursday, October 17th & The Conservatory will close early at 3pm on October 17th (last entry at 1:30pm) to accommodate this year’s event.*
The Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance presents FLEUROTICA, our signature floral fashion fundraiser, on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 6-9pm here at the Conservatory.
In-person tickets are SOLD OUT, but virtual tickets are still available to LIVESTREAM the show at 7pm on Thursday, October 17th! Your $35 virtual ticket means you can still see the 15 show-stopping botanical looks come down the runway, and watch an amazing performance by Ruth Page Center for The Arts! All ticket sales support free nature education programs at Garfield Park Conservatory.
WHAT IS FLEUROTICA?
FLEUROTICA spotlights the unique talents of Chicago’s floral designers, fashion designers, students and landscape artists as they create breathtaking garments made entirely from plants, flowers and natural materials. All proceeds from FLEUROTICA benefit the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance’s nature education programs at the Garfield Park Conservatory.
The show this year will be hybrid with:
- An in-person event of upwards of 400 seated guests
- Runway show featuring 15 show-stopping botanical looks from 15 featured designers
- A pre-show cocktail hour featuring drinks from Uncle Nearest, St~Germain and Martini & Rossi Prosecco, Bonaccorsi Wines, Marz Community Brewing, Nebula9, Swoon, Goya coconut and sparkling water and Boxed Water. Light bites provided by Beatrix, Ema, Pizzeria Portofino, and dessert from Eli’s Cheesecake, Jesse’s Gelato and TruFru.
