Studies in Botanical Drawing Class

Studies in Botanical Drawing: April 1, 8 & 15 2017 – 3 Class Series

Beginner/Intermediate study in drawing foundations as well as learning to draw plants from real life. In this class, we will spend time covering the fundamentals of drawing as well as learn how to apply those fundamentals to draw plants from real life. We will have skill-building exercises in the classroom as well as hands-on practice in three different plant houses over the course of three weeks: April 1, 8 & 15. Each student will be supplied with their own drawing supplies to keep and continue on their drawing practices after the class series is over. The hopes of this class is that student’s will learn the fundamentals of drawing and gain confidence in their skills so that they can go out into nature and continue their studies long after the classes end.
