Tulip Mania!

Every spring, the medians downtown are bursting with colorful tulips. Once the tulip show is done, we get loads and loads of tulips delivered to GPC to distribute to YOU! Our volunteers bag the tulips so you can easily pick them up on the giveaway day. Be in line at the Garfield Marketplace Gate (north of the main entrance on Central Park Ave) by 9am to ensure you get tulips – at least 2 dozen but likely many more – or better yet, become a GPCA Member and skip the line! Please note, we’re typically completely out of tulips before 9:30am.
If you’d like to help bagging the tulips, please contact Nicole Schaefer our Volunteer Program Coordinator at volunteering@garfieldpark.org. Adults (18+) and teens (16+) with a parents/guardian are welcome as volunteers for this event.
