Brothers of Blues Holiday Concert

Chicago West Community Music Center will present Brothers of Blues Band, a concert of holiday music performed in the jazz-influenced Chicago West Side blues style.
Be sure to take a walk through the Show House to experience our Holiday Flower Show ‘Tickled Pink’!
This concert is free and open to the public. RSVPs encouraged, but not required. Seating is limited and first come, first served.
THE BROTHERS OF BLUES BAND
Wilbert Crosby – Guitar
Brother Crosby has had the opportunity to perform and record with a varied group of artists like Pops Staples, Mavis Staples, Aretha Franklin, Carey Bell and Buddy Guy. Some of his mentors included Mighty Joe Young, Otis Rush, and Cash McCall.
Michael B. Walker – Vocals
A veteran background and studio singer, Mike has sung on commercial and tv music as well as singing with some of the leading local R&B groups including Soul Sound Unlimited and The Love Generation.
Howard Sandifer – Keyboard
Former Administrative Assistant at Quincy Jones Workshop and songwriter at Curtom Records, Sandifer is Executive Director of Chicago West Community Music Center (CWCMC).
Dexter Sims – Bass
Dexter is one of the most in-demand musicians in Chicago playing various genres of music including, jazz, R&B and of course, the blues.
Tyrone Blair – drums
Tyrone has tour the middle east and throughout the Chicagoland area performing with contemporary jazz and blues bands.
