2nd Wednesday Lecture: Digging Deeper, Uncovering Urban Roots

Come and experience the collection through the eyes of our youngest docents!

Join us to learn how the Garfield Park Conservatory is engaging neighborhood teens and to celebrate their work! The Urban Roots Teen Docent program trains CPS students from Al Raby High School to give tours of the Conservatory to visiting school children. On August 9th, teens will show off their new skills by offering free mini tours, discussing the program and displaying all of the cool things that they have learned in an engaging and interactive presentation. Also, come early to go on a tour with one of the teens, starting at 5pm.
