2nd Wednesday Lecture:Exploring Unsung Pioneers of Science with Urban Roots

Join the Garfield Park Conservatory and our Urban Roots docents as we celebrate Black History Month by highlighting the works of several black pioneers of science whose contributions to ecological and plant science have been lost in time.
Urban Roots docents and School and Teen Program Coordinator, Malcolm Townsend, will explore the unsung work of Black ecologists, nutritionists and zoologists and more.
