Annual Seedling Sale

All of our seedlings are grown by our volunteers in our GPCA natural and sustainable seedling mix from all non-GMO seeds and without pesticides. There are many heirloom varieties and a few hardy hybrids.

We will have leafy greens, warm season veggies, herbs and pollinator friendly flowers, some of which are also edible! Not sure about store bought lettuce – stop by the sale so you can grow-your-own! Or try our Kochterrii peppers – a pepper that was hybridized (and trademarked) by two Chicago Park District staff. See the full list here for more descriptions.

Become a GPCA Member to get first pick at the seedlings at 10am! Click here to become a member. Doors open at 11am to the general public; sale ends at 2pm or earlier if we sell out.

Please bring your own bags or boxes to transport your plants (we will have a limited supply on hand). We accept cash, credit & check for payment and all proceeds benefit the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance.
