Beginning Beekeeping Class

Spend the day with our Head Beekeeper, Marcin Matelski, to learn the basics of beekeeping: equipment, hive design and construction, bee biology and behavior, bee management, and bee products. This comprehensive class is a pre-requisite for joining the GPCA volunteer beekeeper program. These classes tend to fill up quickly, so be sure to register early. Pre-registration is required.
Cancellation Policy: If you find this class date no longer works for you, we will gladly refund your money if it is more than two weeks prior to the class date. If it is within two weeks, we can either move your registration to a different class date or you can use the money as a credit towards another class offering before the end of our fiscal year (June 30). In the event that we have a waitlist, with 24 or more notice, we may be able to refund your spot.
