Cancelled – Cabbage Harvesting

The cold weather this past week impacted the cabbages more than expected, so we unfortunately have to cancel cabbage harvesting.

Come explore the Cabbage Patch exhibit and harvest your own cabbage to take home! Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance staff and volunteers will be out in the Cabbage Patch helping visitors harvest cabbages and they will be on hand to answer questions about the exhibit. This will likely be the last big harvesting day of the season!

This activity is planned to be outside in the Cabbage Patch which includes going over a grassy lawn to get to the patch. In case of inclement weather, we will move some aspects inside and we may not be able to harvest cabbage if it is storming.
