Creatures of the Night

Join us for a special Halloween treat at the Conservatory – live creatures in our tropical plant collection, where you can get up close and personal with the animals! Kids and families will learn about unique relationships between animals and plants as they collect sweet treats throughout our building. Kids and adults will…

• Visit up-close with live animals! Come and meet a fruit bat, a bat eared fox, walking sticks, a sloth, an armadillo, a hedgehog tenrec, a lion headed rabbit, snakes and lizards, and even more cool bugs!
• Sing and dance to live music
• Create a creepy craft in the Family Activity area
• Get up close with some scary carnivorous plants
• Little ones can stop by the Tiny Tot Tent to explore the Sensory Table or take a moment to listen to a story in the Reading Nook
•  And don’t forget to test drive your costume in a Monster Mash Costume Bash!
