The Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance presents FLEUROTICA, our signature floral fashion fundraiser, on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 6-9pm here at the Conservatory!
In-person and virtual tickets go on sale at 10AM on Thursday, September 21st, 2023. Purchasing a virtual ticket means you can still see the 15 show-stopping botanical looks come down the runway, and watch an amazing performance by Chicago Contemporary Dance Company! And your ticket directly supports free nature education programs in Garfield Park.
WHAT IS FLEUROTICA?
FLEUROTICA spotlights the unique talents of Chicago’s floral designers, fashion designers, students and landscape artists as they create breathtaking garments made entirely from plants, flowers and natural materials. All proceeds from FLEUROTICA benefit the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance’s nature education programs at the Garfield Park Conservatory.
The show this year will be hybrid with:
- An in-person event of upwards of 300 seated guests
- Runway show featuring 15 show-stopping botanical looks
- Music by DJ All the Way Kay
- Event emcee TBA
- Photography by Ally Almore
- An incredible performance from Chicago Contemporary Dance Theatre
- Cocktail hour before the runway show and post-show dessert reception to meet the 15 designers
- Fashion sketches by Kristine Steiner
- Livestream virtual ticket option to an audience at-home. Virtual event website will launch at 7pm, show starts at 7:15pm.
