Green Teacher Network crafting self sufficiency workshop for teachers

Teachers are welcome to join us in a workshop where we learn about self-sufficiency and wellbeing through a hands-on experience with herbs. During the workshop we will engage in crafting personal hygiene products such as balms, toothpaste, and deodorant. These activities will be coupled with enriching discussions on integrating such crafts and herbalism concepts to enhance the overall well-being of both students and teachers and find ways to bring more knowledge, skills and motivation to continue delivering health promotion through ever-changing circumstances.
Tickets: $25. Space is limited; if you register and are no longer able to make it, please let us know so we can open up the ticket.
Accommodations: On the registration form, there is also a spot to indicate if you’d like to request an accommodation. You can also request accommodations by emailing Grace Urrutia at gurrutia@garfieldpark.org. Please submit requests at least 72 hours prior to the start of the program.
