Virtual Intro to Xeric Air Plants

Urban Gardening Education Manager Emilia Arellano reviews xeric air plants and shares tips for adjusting their care and environment throughout the year. With a little TLC, your air plants will reward you with blooms and plantlets to propagate.

Accommodations: Autogenerated captioning is provided for all virtual programs. When you register for this event you will be asked to provide any accommodations requests including but not limited to: ASL interpretation, closed captioning, transcripts and more. Class Fee (covers admission to webinar only, registration closes Saturday, October 9 at 10 am CST) :

General Admission $25

GPCA Member/Volunteer $20

Air Plant Kits are available for purchase (by webinar participants only) as an Optional Add-On through 10/6/21 or while supplies last. After that date, or once supplies are exhausted, you can register for the class without materials.

Optional Add-On Xeric Air Plant Kit ($20; available for purchase by webinar participants only until Wednesday, October 6 at 12 pm CST or while supplies last)

Xeric Air Plant Kit Includes: One 3 inch cholla wood container, one 6 inch cholla wood container and three small xeric air plants.  Xeric Air Plant Kits must be picked up at the Conservatory on Thursday 10/7/21, 4:30 – 6:30 pm or Saturday 10/9/21, 9 – 10 am. Those who purchase Air Plant Kits must schedule a pickup appointment and will receive detailed instructions with their purchase confirmation email.
