Winter Wonderland Nature Play Days

An event every 2 weeks that begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, repeating until March 25, 2023
Enjoy the beauty of winter outside with Garfield Park Conservatory’s Nature Educators! During the winter months, we will be outside in the Play & Grow Garden to experience a lot of fun outside, even when it’s cold.
Activities may include:
- Shelter and fort building
- Making snowmen, snow angels, and playing with snow paint
- A pine cone bird-feeder craft
- Ice bubbles
- And more to be announced!
Make sure to bundle up for these fun days of play. A warm inner layer against the skin, plus a cozy middle layer, with a warm jacket and a hat on top (plus mittens or gloves!), should keep everyone warm for plenty of great playtime. These events will move indoors if the temperature is consistently below 15° with or without wind chill.
