2nd Wednesday Lecture: Food for the Body and Mind

Food For the Body and Mind

Spring time is here – we welcome you to come partake in a delightful time where people and plants come together.

Take a journey with us to the transformative world of yoga and gardening to feed your body and your soul – led by Yoga Gardens ecovillage, long time community leaders, and teachers aiding and uplifting Garfield Park residents through free yoga and meditation classes daily.

Centered in sustainable living, women Empowerment,  childcare, and solar energy; and home to a Yoga Garden fully equipped with raised vegetable beds growing only organic and non-GMO food, plants, flowers and a huge deck for yoga practice and classes – we are in for a real treat!

We will be guided through a basic yoga and meditation practice and discuss the tremendous benefits of combining healthy eating with spiritual well-being!
