What ideas and beliefs do we hold about space? Who and what do we determine to have the right to space? Can we design space that has integrity for both the natural and social worlds? Join this important discussion guided by Toni Anderson, Curator of People and Planet Consciousness, as she helps us explore the idea of space equity, species migration and liberation.

Toni Anderson is a southside Chicago native dedicated to healing and bringing equity to the spaces supporting and threatening climate & culture. Ms. Anderson is an urban ecologist, spiritualist and founder of Sacred Keepers Sustainability Lab and Mindful Rant, organizations dedicated to designed as vehicles for providing youth with the tools they need to be agents of mindful social/environmental change and proactive personal power. Ms. Anderson is a human emergence practitioner, coach and facilitator of participatory leadership design. She is a Water Ambassador for the Alliance for the Great Lakes, member of the Great Lakes Coalition and partner with the UIC Freshwater Labs Initiative.

Her flagship program the Sacred Keepers Youth Council, is comprised of teens aged 14-19 who travel to indigenous places locally and internationally to study historical affects of global colonization and its affects on our relationship with the earth, sacred traditions and human connection. Toni is a trained facilitator, achieving certifications as an Advanced Youth Development ™ and Circle Keeper ™ practitioner and is currently pursuing a license as a Technology of Participation ™ (ToP) facilitator from the Institute of Cultural Affairs. She is also a trained Zen Shiatsu practitioner.
