RSVP

We welcome you to collaborate with us in bringing your cultural gifts to your community.

This lecture and discussion will present two women’s cultural identities and how this informs their greening efforts throughout the Chicago communities in which they operate. You will have the space to discover for yourselves what cultural gifts you have and how you can give back to your community – especially during the holiday season and for the New Year to come. There will be opportunities to share and network throughout the discussion.

Annamaria León is a Permaculture Designer and Teacher with Permaculture Chicago Teaching Institute and Co-Owner of Homan Grown Perennial Nursery in North Lawndale.

Mom and daughter are both graduates of the Chicago Botanic Garden and City Colleges of Chicago’s Windy City Harvest Apprenticeship and Incubator Farm Program.
