Join WTTW, The Fred Rogers Company, PNC Grow Up Great and the Garfield Park Conservatory in welcoming Daniel Tiger and his friend, Katerina Kittycat for Be My Neighbor Day! A fun filled FREE GRRR-ific event for kids and families to get out, meet Daniel and Katerina, and participate in hands-on activities to bring out the good neighbor in all of us. The special day focuses on the importance of neighborhoods, what children can learn from their community, and how basic values, like kindness and forgiveness can make a difference in life.
Highlights include:
- Walkaround character appearances by Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat
- Learn about the Conservatory and the community
- Do hands on activities with Conservatory nature education teachers
