Beer Under Glass 2021

Beer Under Glass is BACK. This special edition craft beer fundraiser returns to the Garfield Park Conservatory on Friday, August 27th! This year’s event will again be brought to you by the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance (GPCA) in partnership with the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild (ICBG). Beer Under Glass was canceled last year due to the pandemic. We are excited to welcome nature lovers, Illinois breweries and craft beer fans for this one-of-a-kind fundraiser.

COVID UPDATE: In light of the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, and in an effort to deliver a safe festival experience, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test administered within 72 hours of Beer Under Glass will be required upon entry for all organizers, volunteers, brewers and attendees at Beer Under Glass. We encourage patrons to download their vaccination card on the new immunization portal, Vax Verify, found at https://idphportal.illinois.gov. A picture copy on a phone will also be accepted.

Additionally, while the indoor gardens will remain open, masks will be required in all indoor spaces, regardless of vaccination status, unless patrons are actively eating or drinking. All breweries will be stationed outdoors.

EVENT INFORMATION:

There is no VIP ticket or early entry this year, and the event will proceed rain or shine. Food and beverages from some of Chicago’s best local restaurants will be available for purchase throughout the main outdoor gardens.

Proceeds support GPCA’s mission to change lives through the power of nature and ICBG’s mission to support and protect the state’s craft beer industry through education, advocacy, and promotion.

This summer’s special edition Beer Under Glass invites attendees to sample craft beer while enjoying exclusive, after-hours access to the Conservatory’s indoor collections and outdoor gardens. Pours from 70+ local breweries will be available outdoors during two limited tasting sessions, each with 1,000 attendees to allow for social distancing. The Conservatory’s indoor collections will be available for self-guided tours.

*All sales are final. Tickets to this event are non-refundable. Tickets have no cash value. Due to the popularity of this event, we encourage you to buy tickets as soon as possible. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited. Due to space limitations, no designated driver tickets are available. Event will occur rain or shine. (If you are not comfortable with the vaccine/testing requirement, please contact info@illinoisbeer.com for a full refund.)

*Must be 21 years of age or older with valid identification to attend and participate. All ticket holders must present a valid ID when entering the event, which will be checked at the door. Please drink responsibly and use a designated driver.
