Herb Wreaths

Join us in person at Garfield Park Conservatory to learn about air drying herbs and leave with two 6-inch herb wreaths designed by you!

This workshop includes:

• A brief discussion of 3 methods for drying herbs and which herbs are best for each method: air, oven & microwave
• Time and materials for participants to create two 6-inch herb wreaths with grapevine wreath forms and a mix of fresh and previously dried herbs

During this workshop, instructor Emilia Arellano will guide participants through preparing fresh herbs for air drying and designing two 6-inch herb wreaths to take home. Emilia has been working in urban horticulture for over 5 years and is the Urban Gardening Education Manager with the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance. 

Class available for ages 18+

Cost:

General Registration – $45

Member/Volunteer Registration – $36

For all fee-based programs and tours, we are able to provide full refunds up to two weeks prior to the program date. Within two weeks, we can offer a credit for a future class, or a refund in the event that we have a waitlist for the program and we can fill your spot.
