Natural Watercolor Paints Workshop

Join us in person at Garfield Park Conservatory to learn how to make natural watercolor paints!
During this workshop instructor Kristin Field will guide participants through creating 3 natural watercolor paints from plants to bring home! Participants will learn:
- How to create a lake pigment from dye plants like marigolds and sulfur cosmos
- Which plants make colorfast paints and which plants do not
- Steps and ingredients for mulling your own natural watercolor paint
Kristin has been working with and studying natural dyes for over 4 years and is the Adult Experiential Learning Manager with the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance.
Class available for ages 18+
Cost:
General Registration – $100
Member/Volunteer Registration – $80

For all fee-based programs and tours, we are able to provide full refunds up to two weeks prior to the program date. Within two weeks, we can offer a credit for a future class, or a refund in the event that we have a waitlist for the program and we can fill your spot.
