Night Out in the Parks: Raga-Andean Folk Music

Indigenous Indian music and dance embrace the simple earthy folk music of the Andes.

“Where Vindhyas meet the Andes” an amalgam of folk music and dance from Southern India with Andes-Peruvian Folk heritage! Indigenous music/dance like Kuravanji and Kolaattam embrace the simple earthy nature-centric folk music of the Andes! You will get to see ancient acoustic instruments like South Indian Veena, South American Siku, Bombo and Zampona plus colorful lively folk dance!!

This is event is FREE and open to all ages, as part of the Night Out in the Parks programming.
