Warm Season Planter Workshop

Join us in person at Garfield Park Conservatory to learn about summer crops that grow well in containers and leave with one 12-inch wide by 11-inch tall plastic pot that you planted with a mix of herb, veggie and edible flower seedlings + seeds!
This workshop includes:
- An overview of best practices for summertime small-scale container gardening.
- Time and materials for each participant to plant their own 12-inch wide by 11-inch tall planter with a mix of edible flower, herb and veggie seedlings + seeds suitable for summer’s warm weather.
During this workshop, Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance Programs Staff will guide participants step by step as they design and plant their own warm season planters. Care recommendations will be provided.

For all fee-based programs and tours, we are able to provide full refunds up to two weeks prior to the program date. Within two weeks, we can offer a credit for a future class, or a refund in the event that we have a waitlist for the program and we can fill your spot.
