Celebrate Earth Day at the Garfield Park Conservatory and Gardens!
Join us for a special artist talk as part of the exhibit Becoming: Where Plastic Meets Nature. Local artist Cody Norman along with the team from Redemptive Plastics will discuss their work on display in the Conservatory’s collection.
Learn how they transform plastic waste into beautiful, flowing sculptures that look like they grew right out of the ground! They will discuss how they use technology in creative ways and how their work helps to keep plastic out of landfills and oceans while making our neighborhoods more beautiful.
