The Youth Advisory Council, (YAC), at Garfield Park Conservatory, was launched in 2024. It is a program facilitated by our Teen Coordinators and Senior Leaders of Urban Roots. YAC is comprised of 9 teens from across the city that have connections to the West Side of Chicago. YAC will inform program quality and host events that cater to Chicago teens with the goal of informing the Alliance on how we can make the Conservatory a more inclusive space for Chicago teens.
